Fruitful Harmony Salad

Ingredients:

– 1 cup fresh Blueberries

– 1 cup fresh Strawberries, sliced

– 1 ripe Hass Avocado, diced

– 2 Kinnow Oranges, peeled and segmented

– 1 tablespoon Honey

– 2 tablespoons Lime Juice

– A handful of Fresh Mint Leaves, chopped

– Optional: A sprinkle of Chia Seeds for added texture

Instructions:

1.Prepare the Fruit:

   – Rinse the blueberries and strawberries under cold water.

   – Slice the strawberries and set aside.

   – Peel and dice the ripe Hass avocado.

 

2.Segment the Kinnow Oranges:

   – Cut off the tops and bottoms of the Kinnow oranges.

   – With a sharp knife, carefully slice off the peel, ensuring no white pith remains.

   – Hold the orange over a bowl and slice between the membranes to release the segments. 

3. Assemble the Salad:

   – In a large bowl, combine the blueberries, sliced strawberries, diced avocado, and Kinnow orange segments.

4. Prepare the Dressing:

   – In a small bowl, whisk together honey and lime juice to create a refreshing dressing.

5. Drizzle and Toss:

   – Drizzle the honey-lime dressing over the fruit mixture.

   – Gently toss the salad until all ingredients are evenly coated.

6. Garnish:

   – Sprinkle chopped fresh mint leaves over the salad for a burst of flavor.

   – Optionally, add a sprinkle of chia seeds for an extra nutritional boost and added texture.

7. Chill and Serve:

   – Allow the salad to chill in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes before serving.

   – Serve in individual bowls or as a side dish for a refreshing and healthy treat.
